1. How do I view files during the lecture on Google Meet?

By opening the file window to display, then choosing "Apply Now" at the bottom of the Google Meet interface and choosing the window you want to share displayed.

 



2. Is it necessary to create a special code for each meeting, or is it possible to use the same code for all the lectures of the course?

There is no need to repeat creating lectures every time, you can use the same code that was created the first time and use it in every lecture meeting.

 


 

3. Can people enter the lecture without logging in?

The lecture cannot be accessed through the code or the link unless you log in with your Gmail account.

 



4. How do I invite a group of students at once to lecture?

It is not possible to choose a group to send the invitation directly to, the invitation is sent by entering the email address of all the people participating in the lecture.

There are alternate solutions including: creating groups for e-mail addresses and sending an email to all the elements of the group at once, or by scheduling the meeting and choosing the group that was created and invited to the meeting. The method is explained here

 



5. What is the maximum number of attendees at the meeting?

100 people

 



6. Is it possible to record the lecture?

Yes, the lecture can be recorded by the lecturer and stored in Google Drive in the lecturer account, and upon the completion of the registration, all participants are notified of the meeting with the link of the lecture registered via email. It is also possible to share the link with other people and limit access to it by the lecturer.

 


 

7. Student is unable to access the exam form

 

The student should make sure to log in using his university email address which ends with @std.pass.ps

 


 

8. How do I add an audio file to the Google From exam?

 

You can upload the audio file to "Sound Cloud" website or Google Drive and use the file link after uploading it to add the link in the question.

9. I do not have permission to add an e-learning class

 

The lecturer must be added to the teachers group of Al-Istiqlal University to be able to add a class.

 


 

10. How do I send the exam link to be viewed by the head of the department before publishing it to students?

 

You can share the form by clicking "Send" in the top menu on the right hand side, and email it to the desired email address. Or, it is possible to add any person an editor to the form for viewing and modification through the "Add collaborators" that appears in the same "send form" screen.
